Project role:
UI/UX Designer
Industry:
MediTech
The Project
ConvaTec partnered with CI&T to elevate their digital customer experience. I joined the team to help reimagine their UI and UX foundations, ensuring their platforms were intuitive, accessible, and ready to scale across global markets.
The Brief
The goal was to create a streamlined, user-first experience that reflected ConvaTec’s position as an industry leader. Alongside improving usability, we needed to develop a scalable design system that could be applied consistently across teams, regions, and digital touchpoints. Accessibility, clarity, and long-term efficiency were key priorities throughout.
The Challenges
Designing for the healthcare space means dealing with complex user needs, strict regulatory standards, and high-stakes information. The challenge was making the platform feel human, empathetic, and easy to navigate without oversimplifying the content. Building a design system that could support both patient-facing and professional tools also required careful UX thinking and collaboration across multiple teams.
Project Impact
This was a true team effort, but I played a key role in shaping the visual direction and UX logic behind the platform. My focus was on designing components that balanced clarity with flexibility, making the system both scalable and easy to use. The final design system is now being rolled out globally, providing a consistent foundation for future digital products and helping ConvaTec deliver a smoother, more unified experience to patients and professionals alike.
